Ship to Shore Institute was established in 2017 out of a need to offer high quality beauty training at an affordable rate for the silent common. We aim to equip our students with the skills they would need to successfully begin a career in beauty therapy. With the growing opportunities to work on cruise ships and in Arabic countries such as Dubai, Ship to Shore prepares students with the cruise ship market in mind. Our graduates go on to successfully pursue beauty careers at sea or on land. Many become cruise ship massage therapists, beauty therapists as well as fitness trainers on board.

Our goal is to train therapists who wish to work on cruise ships so thoroughly to cruise ship standard such that when they interview with our various partners such as Steiner the On-Board Spa and Canyon Ranch, they are immediately picked out of the crowd. Often on board, our Beauty therapy alumni are promoted to coveted cruise ship positions such as management or to white glove service.

Should our students choose not to become a beauty therapist on cruise ships, they are always happy to find the thoroughness of our training has already well prepared them to pursue a beauty career on land. As a brand we carefully study the trends in the Beauty industry and always aim to adapt our training such that our candidate is always ahead of the curve.
